| When we were ready to buy our first home we were referred by some friends to Karen. Having never been through the home buying process we were nervous about what to expect, Karen explained the entire process in detail and was patient with all our questions. When we put an offer on a new construction that had not even broke ground, Karen walked us through the entire build process. She was there every step of the way, helping us work with the builder, negotiating plan changes, picking tile, carpet, etc. She handled all the details of working with the builder to ensure that we got exactly what we were paying for. She was ALWAYS looking out for our best interest. There was not a day that went by throughout the 5-month build process that Karen was not working to ensure the details were taken care of. We could never have done it without her; her attention to detail and prompt follow though kept us sane! Karen’s knowledge of the new construction process is an asset to anyone looking to buy a new home. We cannot say enough about how well she kept everything under control. We’ve had other people tell us that once they put an offer on new construction their real estate agent left them to work out the details with the builder, which left them with a major headache. | When my brother passed away, our family was faced with the prospect of selling his home in Summer Lake via long distance, since we all live in the Milwaukee WI area. A neighbor of my brother suggested we call Karen Sackos as she had helped him find his house. That was the best thing that happened to us in this entire process. Although my spouse and I are both lawyers, neither of us has a background in real estate law, and neither had the time to spend readying the house for sale, being involved with arranging for handymen and contractors to do some fixup, and tending to the closing details. Moreover, because we travel a great deal, it was necessary that we work with someone who could track us down wherever we happened to be. Karen was all of that and more.
